After careful consideration, Bandt Quarter Horses has decided to take a break from breeding for a few years.  We have gelded BNR Dry Play Stik and he is now for sale.  We have one filly for sale currently out of NBD Crotons McCue (Faith) by Ima Jab O Lena and will have two foals by BNR Dry Play Stik for sale this spring.  Pictures and information will be posted as they arrive on the Current Year's Foals page.  "Mac" may be joining this page in the future- we'll watch him as he grows.

Ima Jab O Lena,
AQHA # 3559687
Grandson of Doc O Lena, out of a granddaughter of Colonel Freckles and by a grandson of King Fritz.

Ima Jab O Lena a.k.a. "Radar".  His sire- Jab O Lena- is out of Jabalina Chex who is a daughter of King Fritz (the daughters of King Fritz are said to be the best producers of cow horses) and Radar's dam is out of a daughter of Colonel Freckles.  He is 86% foundation by the NFQHA standards.  Radar is a 1997 Rabicano Sorrel (color explanation site) and stands powerfully packed at 14'3" with excellent bone and conformation.  His beautiful head is passed on along with his amazing athletic ability.   Radar has a kind eye with a lot of intelligence behind it.  We have been so incredibly happy with this stallion.  He had some big "shoes" to fill after Breezy and he's doing a wonderful job.  See for yourself.  Don't miss out on the opportunity to breed your mare to this fine stallion.

If you're looking for a well bred stallion with the smarts and natural ability & sense for cattle work and cutting with a little bit of reining thrown in there- look no further.  You have just found him!   Radar works hard when you want him to and is always waiting for your next signal.  He's sensible and knows what you want when you want it and gives it to you 110%.  Look at the "Past Years' Foals" page to see just a few of his outstanding foals.  Consistently, they all have his incredibly natural & abundant athletic ability and their own awesome personality!

2009 Stud Fee: $550 plus mare care $4/$7 lfg

BNR Dry Play Stik - Gelded 3/4/08
AQHA #X0632358

Grandson of Playgun, Great Grandson of Doc O Lena & Freckles Playboy,  with Dry Doc, Doc's Hickory & Peppy San thrown in there along with other great horses!  Smokey will be a blast to ride and to get started on cattle.  Should be interesting!

"Smokey"  has come to us from the beautiful state of Colorado, originally off the Major Cattle Company Ranch.  This promising young gelding has a ton of potential.  He has a very willing attitude to compliment his athletic ability and elegant movement.  Keep checking back to see and hear of his progress.   Smokey's first three foals (it's been a filly year!) are now on the ground (2007).  We'll let you know how they grow and what they're like.   We have two colts from him this spring.  Both are nice colts and seem to be quite athletic.  We will post pictures and let you know how they grow.  One is a golden dun turning grey and the other is black turning grey.  They're sharp colts and have a lot of personality.

Nicks Breezy Day, AQHA, NFQHA, FQHR
93% Foundation Stallion

Breezy was and always will be the foundation stallion for our breeding program.  He was bred for ability, sense and soundness.  He added muscle, bone, conformation and intelligence!  His pedigree included Western Pleasure, Cutting, Reining, Halter and Racing.  At 93% Foundation (NFQHA standards), his bloodlines consisted of  Leo, King, Wimpy, Three Bars, Peter McCue, Bill Cody, Cowboy, Okie Leo, Skips Brick, Skipper W, Joe Reed, Hard Twist, Poco Bueno, Yellow Jacket and MANY more

We lost Breezy on March 16, 2001.  He was our most trusted stallion and the horse on which we built our program.  We are blessed to have his daughters in our breeding program and look forward to crossing them with our outstanding stallion- Ima Jab O Lena.  Breezy babies have always been sensible, intelligent, easy to train, beautiful to look at and have the conformation and ability to do whatever you want!  Watch for his "grandchildren" as I'm positive that they'll carry on the same attributes!

(this picture's a bit blurry but you can see the movement he had!)
